Return to Movement will help you return your body back to its natural way of movement…

Osteopathy is a form of hands-on treatment that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing health issues by emphasising the body's musculoskeletal system—comprising bones, muscles, and joints. It is based on the principle that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself and that proper alignment and function of the musculoskeletal system are essential for overall health.

Osteopaths use techniques such as stretching, soft tissue massage, dry needling/medical acupuncture, joint mobilisation and manipulation to, relieve pain, improve mobility and enhance the body's natural healing processes. These techniques are designed to restore balance within the body, reduce tension, and improve circulation, ultimately supporting the body's ability to function optimally.

It all started when…

I first discovered my passion for movement while training for my First Degree Black Belt in Kickboxing. This new interest ultimately inspired me to change my career path from a desk-based role to becoming an Osteopath.

This career shift has deepened my understanding of the body's mechanics, particularly how it compensates when movement is restricted or impaired. It's also given me the privilege of working at the highest level of sports, including with the England Women's Cricket team and with the first team at Southampton Football Club. Working with elite athletes has given me invaluable insights into sports injuries and performance. I've learnt how to tailor treatments for different needs and adapt to the physical demands placed on these athletes.

I've had the privilege of treating individuals from all walks of life. I have a particular interest in working with athletes, both dedicated competitors and occasional fitness enthusiasts. However, my true passion lies in helping my patients lead active, fulfilling lives, allowing them to do the things they love.

I initially trained as a BTEC Level 5 Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist at The London School of Sport Massage, qualifying in 2015. This opened the door to my time at Southampton FC, where I was introduced to Pilates by Suzanne Scott. Pilates became an essential tool in player rehabilitation, maintenance, and overall movement conditioning to keep them at peak performance.

I took further training to become a YMCA Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor. I honed my skills at Pilates in Motion under the guidance of Anoushka Boone. I now incorporate Pilates into my treatments and rehabilitation advice.

Having worked alongside some of the top Osteopaths at Physical Balance, I returned to study, obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Osteopathy after five years at The College of Osteopaths.

My mission is to bring joy back into people's lives by helping them move pain-free. I aim to provide hands-on, personalised rehabilitation, injury prevention, and functional movement solutions.

Outside of work, I love challenging my mind and body. I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, completed the National Three Peak Challenge, cycled from London to Brighton, walked the Isle of Wight's entire shoreline in under 24 hours, and participated in various running events. I'm always looking for my next adventure.
